Letos Kubu Homestay

"I stayed with my husband for one night and just kept staying. Breakfast is delicious and yanni's daughters make the best bali coffee. The staff work hard to keep the hotel spotless and give fantastic service without being intrusive to your privacy. ( hard to find in bali) The only thing I,d change is maybe a kettle in rooms for that late night cup of tea in bed. It is in a pretty hairy area of bali so expect other guests to be noisy, mainly drunk and inviting their fellow travellers from other hotels into the pool. The owners are maybe too easy going in that regard. But hey, you can't have it both ways. The family and staff are amazing and you would be mad not go stay here."

"Stayed there for five nights with my friends and everything went well. We didn't have a reservation when we showed up. The staff were nice and showed us the rooms so we could decide whether we would stay there or not. We did like the rooms, the swimming pool and the quietness of the place so we decided to give it a try and we were note disappointed! The rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Good A/C. There was a safe but we didn't use it. Nice breakfast (tea or coffee + fresh fruits and jaffles). We were the only customers during our whole stay!!! So we had the swimming pool for ourselves :) and were able to check out at 2pm instead of 12pm. Good location. Many restaurants around. About 10mins walk from the beach. I'd stay there again!"

"This was my first time traveling to Asia and as a woman in her 20s traveling alone I had four things I was looking for in a place to stay: cleanliness, nice people, good location, and safe. Letos Kubu had all of these things and more. It's less than a 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to shops and restaurants on legian street. The room was impeccably clean. I did not see a single bug the entire time in my room. This is because they thoroughly clean the rooms everyday when you leave. They do not bother you but wait for you to leave. The rooms are a bit small, but I didn't need a big place and you have a nice patio to walk out on to. They serve you breakfast when you wake up and will arrange a driver if you want to visit other places. Their daughter yuli picked me up from the airport. The best part is the family. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. So friendly and wanting to help. I had a drink with the father last night while watching soccer. I highly recommend Letos Kubu to anyone traveling to Kuta."

"We stayed here for three nights. Accommodation is basic but very clean and perfect home stay . Picked up from the airport by the owners daughter who was lovely. This was our first time to Bali and was a great place to stay. Next time we would stay here for our entire visit and leave out our Nusa Dua stay. Everything is within walking distance and l am six months pregnant and had a four yr old in tow. The staff were great when my daughter was ill one night. Great price..."

"Stayed with Nyoman, Ketut and family for 1 month in April 2012. This is a great place to stay. The Staff are very friendly and go to great lengths to help and look after you. Its a very clean and safe Homestay, close to everything and tucked away in a quiet location for peace and quiet. Its got a great little pool and lovely garden area. True Balinese friendliness and courtesy. Its great to sit with the family in the evenings to chat, sip a few Bintangs and try and work out the Indonesian Soap Operas on TV. All your needs can be looked after - Motorbike hire, airport transfers, internet access, cheap shopping, good food, (very good Mie Goreng) I love this place and will return again."
